Huge Drop In Homes For Sale In Twin Cities Since 2008

We had around 2.6 million people living in the Twin Cities around 2005. Today in 2022 we have about 2.9 million people living in the Twin Cities. So we have about 300,000 more people but we only have about 1/5th as may homes available for sale. That is a huge decrease in available supply.
During this same time period prices have gone up a lot, but first they dropped substantially after the market crashed in 2008. When you look at these graphs they really put things in perspective.
