Quang Offers Top Notch Pho

August 31, 2016

Until today, I'd never before tried Pho (pronounced "fuh").  Call me crazy.  Call it missing out on deliciousness.  Call it anything you'd like and you'd be absolutely correct.  But I am here to tell you that I am now 100% on board, and I will never look back.

I'm sure that now that I've tasted the magic, I'll hereby be on a mission to sample every pho in the city.  For now though, let me tell you a bit about Quang and why you absolutely need to eat there.

This shop serves up Vietnamese fare and offers everything from cream cheese wontons (seriously, so gooey and amazing, I'm drooling now just thinking about them), to pad thai, to all different varieties of pho.  And it is all to die for.  My friend and I actually happened upon Quang by mistake - we were planning to have lunch at another nearby restaurant, but realized once we got there that they didn't serve weekday lunches.  So we opted for Quang on a whim.  Lucky for us, that whim turned out to be tasty with a capital T.

Pho, for me, was such an interesting blend of flavors - I chose the chicken dish, which tasted sweet and savory all at the same time.  The jalapeƱos on the side added the perfect little kick, and though I usually don't get full off of soup, this stuff hit the spot.

So the next time you're on eat street, check out Quang.  You won't pho-get it.
