Patina is Your Go-To Spot for Minnesota Gifts
Looking for a Minnesota t-shirt? A Minnesota mug? A set of Minnesota wine glasses? A Minnesota trails book? A Minnesota anything?! Get yourself to Patina and prepare to be amazed.
I've always been a big fan of Patina for unique gift ideas and humorous cards. In fact, last Christmas I did all of my family shopping right at the shop on 50th and Bryant. Everyone loved their gifts; they were unique and clever, and perfectly suited to each individual.
So yesterday, for Arne's birthday, I knew exactly where to go for his gift. I headed straight to my go-to spot and thought I'd try to find something Minnesota-inspired. First, I looked at the cabin gear - "the cabin is my happy place" pillows and Paul Bunyan-themed puzzles caught my eye. I thought I'd look around a bit more though.
That's when I spotted the wall of Minnesota and Minneapolis goods in the form of just about anything imaginable. There were wooden coasters and straws, wine openers and blankets - the perfect summer must-haves. Then I came across the Sota Clothing t-shirts and knew I'd hit the jackpot.
See, the thing about Patina is that they sell goods from a variety of vendors - including a ton of local artists and shops, which is awesome. Once I spotted the Sota gear, I was pretty pumped; we'd worked with the founder of Sota Clothing on a few projects recently, and I'd been meaning to buy a few shirts from his site for awhile and hadn't gotten around to it. But, lo and behold, there they were all along, just down the street from me!
Arne loved the shirt (he rocked it to work today), and Patina once again solidified its place as my favorite gifting shop. If you haven't had a chance to check out the goods at any of their seven locations around the Twin Cities, you definitely should - it's chock full of amazing items that run the gamut. You're sure to find something for that special person on your list.
