Beers & Bowling in the Heart of Minneapolis

July 12, 2016

Where can you go for a pile of delicious pork and cheese nachos and a game of bowling afterwards to work it all off?  Why, Town Hall Lanes, of course.

Located in Nokomis just off of Minnehaha Creek and down the block from Al Vento, this brewpub has everything your heart desires: beer, bar food, and bowling.  It's a low key spot and tucked away from the crowds that typically surround Bryant Lake Bowl in uptown, which makes for an excellent atmosphere.

Bring the kids! Or, leave 'em at home! Either way, Town Hall has great food and entertainment that is both family-friendly and yet not of the Chuck E Cheese variety (meaning you can also not bowl and just enjoy a cool brew at the end of a long day).

We found the service to be spot on - our waitress was incredibly helpful, suggesting we try the asparagus/spinach flatbread with sausage or prosciutto (seriously - it was awesome).

Plus, if you happen to take a date out for dinner there, you can always take the short drive over to Lake Nokomis and walk along the shore.  It's the perfect way to end the night.

So check it out if you're looking for a quick bite to eat or a way to spice up your Monday (or any other) night with a little bowling.  You won't regret it.
