If you find a good deal you better jump on it.  South Minneapolis housing supply is drying up.  There is way more demand then there is supply.  Prices are going up every month.  Honestly, I see this area continuing to grow because New York, Seattle, San Francisco are dirty and way too expensive.  More and more people are going to move to Minneapolis.  The odds are against you when it comes to finding a home.  But if you plan your search in advance, put a good real estate team around you, and go out there aggressively and make offers, then with some luck you might get a good one.

This property was a great value.  It was a 5 bed, 2 bath, rented for $3000 a month and it was under $220,000.  Your mortgage payment on this would only be around $1500 a month so it would be a good cash flow property.

One of the best places to live in South Minneapolis is close to 48th and Chicago.  I see this area doing very well because there are good restaurants, a grocery store, home prices are relatively low compared to the rest of south Minneapolis, and it is easy to get to from 35W.  Lastly, Minnehaha Creek is just down the street.  Hit me up if you are interested in finding a good deal in south Minneapolis.
