Light Rail Development In Minneapolis

April 30, 2016

Traffic sucks. But Minneapolis traffic compared to New York is 10x better. I just got back from NYC for the first time and it made me so thankful that I live in Minneapolis. The light rail has been huge for development, over $1 billion has been invested close to the light rail since 2007. That is a massive amount of money and I see this trend continuing. I think any homes that are close to the light rail end up gaining value from its proximity. Its a value add that isn't available to a home that is not close. Its good for rental properties or people who commute to Bloomington, St Paul, downtown Minneapolis. The expansion to the southwest suburbs is only going to make the light rail more relevant. Hit me up if you have any questions about real estate in Minneapolis, south or the northside. Peace. 612-423-0202
